If you read the aforementioned Melanie Travis mystery, Unleashed, and you are same me, you were plausible foiled to see Melanie's betrothed Sam nick off for an unexplained juncture later his ex-wife's execution for thoughtfulness and what-not. Berenson, however, appeases us in Once Bitten by fulfilling the swear of a ceremony - that of Melanie's brother Frank.

While she is relaxed to see her male sibling maturing into a obligated businessperson and committing himself to dog running shoe/knockout Bertie Kennedy, Melanie is still nursing the wounds of her ending. When Bertie's flyaway marriage planner, underemployed manager Sara, enigmatically disappears, Melanie finds nearby is no occurrence left to cry terminated spilt engagements when Bertie pleads beside her to brainstorm Sara...and aid intend a wedding ceremony spell she's doing that.
